untitled alpaca game
last updated: 25/7/25 | original created: 24/7/25
nifty idea but stopped working on it because i can realistically never ever make a game and it's as its stands way too similar to alpaca world imo

levels
There are two different levels, player level and
alpaca level. Both can be increased through various tasks that will be translated into a certain amount of EXP points. Player level will allow the player to unlock various mechanics as they progress through the game and is earned through
- Growing one’s alpaca farm
- Using EXP potions
- Defeating stranger alpacas
- Breeding
You can increase alpaca level specifically by training and defeating stranger alpacas
combat

You can click on various stranger alpacas (black silhouettes) scattered across your screen when in a region with your team. The stranger alpaca’s level will be noted directly under it. Clicking on one will open the fighting screen where 1 member of your team fights the silhouette, though this can be rotated through the team selection.
Fighting will continue until the stranger alpaca has been defeated or captured with a leash bought from the shop. Defeated stranger alpacas will have a 50% to drop their wool. You can also flee, though this will increase the restlessness of the fighting alpaca only by 10%.
training
Training can be done through the Training Grounds, purchased through the shop. Training slowly yet idly increases the EXP of (an) alpaca(s)
mood
The mood of an alpaca can fluctuate based on herd, homosexual bond and more. It is a percentage bar and can be accessed by clicking on a specific alpaca to view their stats. Mood can be passively increased or maintained through various buildings in the shop or when they have no negative side effects.
Bad mood gives a penalty on all stats
breeding
Breeding can be done by pairing the mother and father and is unlocked at level 15. When breeding, you will have a 50% chance of failure. The alpacas involved in the attempted breeding will have a 5 minute cooldown to breeding.
babies
Baby Alpacas will have the fur of the mother, father or a random color. The child will take 1 real time hour to be born and at birth will be 5% more efficient at leveling up. Increments depending on how high level the parents are. Caps at 50%
E.g. if the mother is level 5 and the father is level 7 then (5+7)/2=6 and 6x5=30 so the baby will be 30% more efficient than the average alpaca
Developmental stages
Baby, Child (1 hour to achieve), Adult (1 hour to achieve)
Alpaca inventory
Alpacas have their own inventory that can be accessed through the management tab or by right clicking on them while in your farm. They have a total of 5 total slots where you can equip various (4) accessories or 1 toy on them.
Note that accessories or toys will not be visual, you can’t see them on the actual alpaca
regions
There are various regions that one can access as they progress with their level by buying portals in the shop to these regions. Portals can only be bought at a specific level.
